Mark your calendar for some fun art exhibits on Bainbridge Island. I'm humbled to have two of my paintings in the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art (BIMA) Spotlight Show. (Click HERE for details). This is a juried group exhibition with a diverse array of artists from the Puget Sound region, part of a celebration of the museum's 10th anniversary. The show will be up from June 30-September 10th. I'm so excited to see it myself--be sure to visit!
The next event is the First Friday Art Walk on July 7th. Windermere Real Estate has invited our group of seven painters back for the third year and we are happy to be there. Windermere is a gracious host--providing a beautiful venue, live music, wine and refreshments. The town is lively and people are so happy to be out. We artists will be there from 6-8pm--stop by and say hi!
I'm also very excited to have my current works on display at Blackbird Bakery. Owners Heidi Umphenour and Jeff Shepard have been generous to invite me back. My show will be up for July and August. I always enjoy the feedback I get from the bakery visitors--this brings me such joy and reminds me why I love to paint. Stop by for an awesome baked treat, refreshing drink,
and a mini art walk.
The final fun event is at the Treehouse Cafe. I have convinced my good friend Darrell Anderson to have a show! I met Darrell ten years ago as a teacher and am so grateful for our friendship. He is an awesome, versatile artist with over 50 works to show. There will be an opening reception on Sunday, July 9th from 3-5. Stop by for pizza and art! So many inspiring events--
I look forward to seeing everyone this summer. I appreciate your support over the years!
GigI! I am so excited for you. Congrats. I will be there at all 4. best, Nora
