6 x 12 Soggy Seattle has broken another rainfall record with nearly 4 feet of rain this winter--making it the wettest winter since records began in 1895, according the to National Weather Service. This painting was done from a small news clipping in a fun workshop being lead by Michelle Usibelli at the Winslow Art Center. Michele is a wonderful artist, but also a fun and generous teacher. Martha Jordan, owner of the art center does a fantastic job at bringing in artists from all over the world to teach. I painted this a month ago, and it's still raining around here!
There were a few sunny days here and there, but not enough. I'm hoping plein air days are around the corner. Thanks for your art appreciation!
