Student Art Show

You're invited to First Friday Art-walk at our local Bainbridge Library, March 6th, 5-7pm. I've been teaching painting to adults through Parks and Recreation for several years, and this will be our second group show. Fifteen talented students will be sharing their paintings and process, including sketches, paint palettes, and exercises we have done to enhance our skills (including painting on non-conventional materials to stay loose, as shown in my work in the attached photo). Every step of the journey of making art can be exciting and enlightening. Facing and overcoming challenges promotes personal growth. The artist embraces chance, welcomes uncertainty, and values effort over results. Everyone works at their personal pace to nurture thier unique style. The art will be on display until March 29th. We hope to see you at the reception for light refreshments, good conversation, and inspiring art. Thank you!
