After a long rainy season here on Bainbridge Island, the sun is out and the daffodils are blooming. I figure I better post this painting that I did just last month, before we all forget about winter. This was done from a newspaper clipping, reminding us of the treacherous storms over in the Cascade mountain range. (Our daughter goes to college in eastern Washington and each time she visits home, we have to check on the driving conditions in the Snowqualmie Pass). I was drawn to the movement of the snow from the plow--further satisfying my latest obsession with "moving earth". Hope you enjoy.
