Beyond This Moment

I know I am not the first artist to "see" music in artwork. I am drawn to subject matter because of the rhythm in the composition--maybe in the way the light is hitting the scene, or the patterns that the colors and shapes form. This painting was inspired by a small news photo of a rainy Seattle traffic scene.

A very cool song by Patrick O'Hearn kept lilting through my mind as I painted. I looked up the name and there it was: Beyond This Moment.
