Arts in the Park

Summer is in full bloom and memories of winter long lost. Funny how that happens in the blink of an eye. I recently participated in a festive community event called "Arts in the Park", hosted by Arts and Humanities Bainbridge. It was a new fundraiser to support all the wonderful programs sponsored by this organization (click on their name to visit the website). Several fellow artists gathered at Waterfront Park

to paint on location. The community had the opportunity to come to our easels and watch and ask questions. It is so inspiring to see how people are affected by art and so validating to be supported in our creative passions. All of our works were donated to the organization. If you are interested in seeing or purchasing this painting, and/or many others that were painted that day, you will have the opportunity on August 4th from 6-8 pm at the Marge Williams Building, 221 Winlsow Way, during the First Friday Art Walk.
